Onion Pie (tartalette aux onions)



Ingredients:

filling.

3 big white onions
2-3 slices of ham
2 tablespoon of ground  Italian Parmesan cheese
2-3 tablespoon liquide fresh cream
2 tablespoon olive oil
6-8 filet of anchovies
black pepper

Directions:

Peel and slice onions thinly ,2mm thickness.
Cut the ham to small pieces.
Warm oil in the pan and saute onions up to shiny,without getting color.
Add ham,parmesan cheese and the fresh liquide cream. let it cook 2-3 minutes. add black pepper. Remove from heat.

Cut the anchovies filet into half. Fill each pie dough with half of the filet in the bottom and add the sauted onions on the top.
Bake for 25 minutes at 200°C

used the recipe of my pizza dough..
Roll the dough up to 3 mm thickness.Used a glass of water to have the form of your pie or any tool to have a round form you wish.
Used an individual small pie molder..(tartalette molder). or any molder for pies.


This is good as an entree in a menu or as for an aperitif
