Humba revised...filipino sweet and sour cuisine
Ingredients:
1 filet of porc (350-400g)
1 big onion (cut finely)
3 cloves of garlic (mince)
1 teaspoon grated ginger
3 tablespoon balsamic venigar
6-8 tablespoon soy sauce( sauce soja)
1-2 tablespoon of brown crystalline sugar
1 lemon juice
1 laurel leaf
2-3 tablespoon peanut oil
black pepper
salt
Directions:
Saute the porc filet with a bit of oil in a pan.,turn the filet while cooking now and then to have uniform brown color on everyside.
When cook. Remove the filet in the pan and set it aside. keep it warm.
Add a bit of oil in the pan ,warm and sauté minced garlic, cut onions, for few minutes.
Add sugar, then add all the rest of the ingredients ,let it boil for few minutes.
Put back the filet in the pan ,turn it once in awhile to adhere the sauce and let it cook few minutes more until the sauce became shiny.
Rectify the sauce by adding few drops of water if necessary.
Best with rice as a side dish
